Settlement audit

Home > Evidence base > Settlement audit

An audit of settlements within the Joint Core Strategy area has been carried out which considers the services within, and accessibility at all settlements. It considers the primary and secondary services available at these locations.

A settlement's position within the scoring does not mean that development is appropriate and deliverable, nor that it is to be avoided. Other factors must be considered such as environmental constraints, available development sites and local character. This audit must therefore be viewed within the context of the wider JCS evidence base.
